The short version: we count what gets used so we can make it better. We don’t know who you are, and we don’t try to find out.

What we measure
When you use the site, our own server receives a small record for each of these moments:
- Page views
- Which page, the size of your screen, your browser language, and the website that sent you here (just its name, not the full address).
- Hints and answers
- Which hint step you opened and whether you revealed the answer. This tells us if hint two is too easy or too hard.
- Tool runs
- That a solver ran and how many results it found. Not the letters you typed.
- Taps and scrolling
- What got tapped, how far you scrolled, and taps that did nothing, so we can find broken buttons.
- Device class
- Phone, tablet or desktop, worked out from screen width and whether you have a touchscreen. Not the model, not an ID.
- Country
- The country your visit comes from, as our hosting provider reports it. We never receive or store your IP address.
Each record is deleted automatically after 90 days. After that we keep only daily totals, such as how many visits a page had on a given day, which can’t be traced back to any one visit.
How we tell one visit from another
We set no cookies. Your browser keeps a random visit ID in its tab memory while that tab is open, so we can see that a page view and a hint tap belong to the same visit. When you close the tab, the ID is gone. It is not tied to your name, email or device, and a new tab gets a new one.
We don’t use fingerprinting, advertising IDs or cross-site tracking of any kind.
Who else sees anything
Today, nobody. The measurements go to our own database, which runs on Cloudflare’s servers; the site itself is hosted by Vercel. Fonts are served from our site, not from a font provider, so loading a page doesn’t contact anyone but us and our hosting companies.
We plan to pay for the site with advertising. When ads arrive, this page will change first, and it will say exactly which partner is involved and how to opt out of personalised ads. Until it says so, there are none.
What you type into the tools
The Wordle Solver, 5-Letter Words and Queens Solver run entirely in your browser; your input never leaves your device. Unscramble, the Jumble Solver and the Cryptoquip Solver send the letters you entered to our server to look them up, return the result, and don’t keep the request.
